At TeamBond, protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy applies to TeamBond Workforce Management digital platform “teambond.com”, and TeamBond Incorporated and covers the privacy practices TeamBond employs when business customers, subscribers, and visitors (“Users”) use our digital platform (the “Service” or our “Services”) governing data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to TeamBond Incorporated include www.teambond.com and TeamBond. The TeamBond application is a digital Workforce Management platform application. By using the TeamBond application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.





Collection of your Personal Information





In the normal course of using our Services, Users will input electronic data into the TeamBond digital platform “User Data”. The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the User has engaged TeamBond. We may access User Data for the purposes of provide the Service, preventing or addressing service or technical problems, responding to support issues, and responding to Users instructions, or as may be required by law, in accordance with the relevant agreement between Users and TeamBond.





TeamBond processes User Data under the direction of its Users and has no direct control or ownership of the personal data it processes. Users are responsible for complying with any regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure, and/or obtaining consent prior to transferring the data to TeamBond for processing purposes.





In order to better provide you with products and services offered, TeamBond may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:





  • First and Last Name
  • Mailing Address
  • E-mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • Employer
  • Job Title
  • Additional Information relevant to matching a user to a job and/or team





If you purchase TeamBond’s products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.





TeamBond may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your: 





  • Age
  • Gender





We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non- personal information in the future.





Use of your Personal Information





TeamBond collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.





TeamBond may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from TeamBond and its affiliates.





Sharing Information with Third Parties





TeamBond does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists or User lists to third parties.





TeamBond may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to TeamBond, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.





TeamBond may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on TeamBond or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of TeamBond; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of TeamBond, or the public.





Accessing the Service





Business Customers and their authorized users may access the Service directly through a URL unique to their individual tenant or may elect to use internal launch pages for single sign-on or other purposes. Customers/Users input information for processing and storage as they use the Service. Customers/Users may also configure the Service to allow end users to input information directly into the Service.





Security of your Personal Information





The security of Personal Information and/or User Data, including personal data, is very important to TeamBond. TeamBond maintains a comprehensive, written security program that contains industry-standard, administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access to User Data. TeamBond designs its applications to allow Users to achieve differentiated configurations, enforce user access controls, and manage data categories that may be populated and/or made accessible on a country-by-country basis. Configuring these settings appropriately is the User’s responsibility. Additional information about the security settings and configurations can be found in the TeamBond Documentation made available to Users.





TeamBond secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. TeamBond uses the following methods for this purpose:

When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.





We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed.





Right to Deletion





Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:





  • Delete your personal information from our records; and
  • Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.





Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:





  • Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform a contract between you and us;
  • Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; or prosecute those responsible for that activity;
  • Debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
  • Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law;
  • Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act;
  • Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of such research, provided we have obtained your informed consent;
  • Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us;
  • Comply with an existing legal obligation; or
  • Otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.





Children Under Thirteen





TeamBond does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application.





E-mail Communications





From time to time, TeamBond may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.





If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from TeamBond, you may opt out of such communications by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE button in the user’s preferences.





External Data Storage Sites





We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.





Global Privacy





EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Statement





TeamBond complies with both the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention or personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, respectively. If there is any conflict between the terms in TeamBond’s Privacy Policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. TeamBond retains User Data according to the timeframes set forth in the relevant agreement with its Users.

This Privacy Statement describes the information we collect about you as a User or Visitor to www.teambond.com, how TeamBond will use the information provided, and with whom we may share the information. The Statement describes your choices and rights related to the information that is provided to or collected by TeamBond.





The TeamBond Service





As part of the TeamBond Service, Users may load data into the Service. We will not share or distribute any such User Data except as provided in the contractual agreement between TeamBond and the User, or as may be required by law. If you are a user of the TeamBond Service through your Employer, your use of TeamBond is governed by your organization’s policies. Please direct your privacy questions or concerns to your employer or your organization’s TeamBond administrators.





Information we Process





You may choose to provide us with your personal information, such as your name, email address, company information, street address, and telephone number. For upgraded paid accounts, we may also require you to provide billing information (such as billing name, address, and credit card).





If you register to attend a TeamBond-sponsored event, we will require certain information including your name, email address, company, and in some instances, emergency contact. When registering for any event, we may also require you to provide billing information (such as billing name and address and credit card number).





TeamBond providers may use website tracking technologies to observe your activities, interactions, preferences, transactional information, and other computer and connection information (such as an IP address) relating to your use of our platform and services. We may also use log files, cookies, and similar technologies to collect information about the pages you view, links you click, and other actions you take when accessing our website, services, or emails.





Use of Information





This section describes some of the ways in which TeamBond uses the information we collect. Please note that there may be other uses, which we would describe to you when we collect the information.





TeamBond uses the information we collect about you to provide you with access and use of the TeamBond platform, services, and support. For example, if you provide information to us in a “Contact Us” form, we will use your information to respond to the request.





TeamBond uses your information for event planning and management, including registration, billing, and ways to connect with other event attendees, or to contact you further about relevant TeamBond products or services. Any information you provide about emergency contacts or dietary preferences would be used for your safety and health purposes.





We use the contact information we collect from you and information about your activity on our platform to send you information that we believe may be of interest to you, such as product announcements, newsletters, education materials, and details on upcoming events. We also use it to send administrative information, such as notices related to products, services, or policy charges.





Your information also may be used to personalize your experience on our platform. TeamBond or our services providers use website tracking technologies to display features that are tailored to your interests. We may use your information to diagnose website technical problems, as well as to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate potential security issues, as well as fraudulent or illegal activity.





In some instances, we may combine the information you have provided to us with other publicly available information. If you participate in a TeamBond-offered education or training course, your enrollment and attendance information will be recorded to track and potentially report your participation and completion. For example, completion of TeamBond certifications by a services partner may be visible to TeamBond and our customers, and completion of a training course may also be visible to the entity making the training available to you, this registration and tracking may be conducted by third parties on behalf of TeamBond.





Disclosure





TeamBond may share information with TeamBond affiliates, third-party service providers or vendors contracted to provide services on our behalf. These third-party service providers or vendors may use information we provide to them only as instructed by TeamBond.





TeamBond may offer the following solely or jointly with third parties or partners: webinars, events, whitepaper downloads, or other services related to TeamBond offerings or services. We may share your contact information and interests in these offerings or services with these approved third parties to communicate with you about TeamBond.





When you attend an event (either sponsored by TeamBond or one where TeamBond is a participating vendor) and have your badge scanned, your information will be shared with TeamBond, as well as with any partner or third party participating in that event, and potentially with the entity sponsoring your attendance at the event. For example, if your badge is scanned as you attend a session at a TeamBond-sponsored conference, TeamBond and any co-sponsors or co-presenters will have access to that information to understand who was in attendance, and potentially follow up with you on relevant products or services. If you do not want your information shared with TeamBond or partners in this manner, do not have your badge scanned. If you badge is scanned by a partner or a third party at an event, your information will be governed by that party’s privacy statement.





TeamBond may disclose information if we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal processes; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; (c) enforce the website Terms and Conditions; and/or (d) act to protect the interests of our users or others.





Tracking Technologies





TeamBond or TeamBond service providers may observe your activities, interactions, preferences, transactional information, and other computer and connection information (such as an IP address) relating to your use of the TeamBond digital platform. We may collect and store this information provided to TeamBond.





TeamBond and our service providers use cookies and other similar technologies, such as web beacons, HTML5 Local Storage, local shared objects, tags, and scripts on our platform and in email communications. We use these technologies to authenticate your access to various areas of our platform, understand your interests, analyze web traffic, combat fraud, improve our products and services as further described above in the Use of Information section, and tailor content to your preferences. In messages that we send, we may use these technologies to track their effectiveness.

Security





TeamBond employs reasonable and appropriate physical and logical security measures to protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, and unintentional disclosure, alteration, or destruction. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password or other form of authentication involved in accessing password-protected or secured resources. In order to protect you and your information, TeamBond may suspend your use of the platform without notice, pending an investigation, if any security breach is suspected.





Data Retention





We will retain your personal information only as long as needed to provide you with services or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data entered into the TeamBond digital platform is retained in accordance with the agreement between the TeamBond User and TeamBond.





Changes to this Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement





TeamBond reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement at any time. Changes to the Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement will be posted on our platform and links to the Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement will indicate that the policy has been changed or updated. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement for any changes. For new Users, changes or updates are effective upon posting. For existing Users, changes or updates are effective 30 days after posting. Your continued use of the application and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
